World Camp in Osaka

World Camp 2024 was held from Monday, October 21 to Wednesday, October 23 at Osaka. World Camp is an international seminar for leaders and the members of overseas branches of Ki Society. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and other reasons, we have been unable to hold this event for a number of years.

There were 200 participants from 10 countries and Japan. And there was very vibrant throughout the three days. On the evening of the second day, we had a banquet to deepen our friendship.

All instruction was given in English by myself, but the room was filled with a variety of languages. Because my instructions were translated into many different languages. In such a severe and complicated world situation, I was moved by the scene where the participants’ hearts were become one through Shinshin Toitsu Aikido, regardless of interests and conflicts, transcending countries and cultures.

The World Camp was a great success. It seems that each group will go sightseeing in Japan and further practice at various dojos in Japan after the camp. I hope they enjoy the rest of their stay in Japan.

This was the first time for the World Camp to be held in Osaka. It was made possible by the dedication and support of all the leaders and members in Osaka. I would like to express my sincere appreciation.
